Physioplus said the investment will support efforts to strengthen its technology platform, expand its network and increase its reach across India.

Founded in 2022 by Samit Saxena, Jaswant Singh and Madhukar Pareek, Physioplus operates a digital platform that combines physiotherapy discovery, patient assessment, clinical documentation, digital practice management and tech-enabled monitoring.

Its patient-facing app also allows users to assess pain and connect with physiotherapists. According to the startup, the app is designed for people dealing with chronic pain, recovering from injuries or undergoing post-surgery rehabilitation.

“We believe the future of physiotherapy lies in being able to measure and demonstrate recovery, not simply count sessions,” Saxena said.

“Our objective is to bring technology, clinical practice and data together to make physiotherapy more accessible, consistent and outcome-driven,” he said.

According to HBF Direct Limited, Physioplus has onboarded more than 1,000 patients. The investor plans to support the startup as it strengthens its technology, expands its network and extends its reach across India.

The investment comes as technology-led physiotherapy and musculoskeletal care companies continue to attract funding.

For Physioplus, the strategic investment marks the next stage of its expansion as it seeks to strengthen its technology infrastructure and extend its physiotherapy network across India.
