Mumbai-based Unveilr AI has raised pre-seed funding from Aviral Bhatnagar’s AJVC at a valuation of Rs 16.7 crore.

The amount raised was not disclosed.
The startup said it will use the capital to expand its engineering capacity, develop additional capabilities for its AI agents and strengthen its sales team as it looks to grow across India, the UAE and the US.
Founded by Sanditya Srivastava and launched in February 2026, Unveilr AI helps B2B and consumer brands generate leads through traditional search engines and AI platforms including ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude.
Combining SEO with AI search
Unveilr AI combines traditional search engine optimisation, or SEO, with Answer Engine Optimisation, or AEO, which focuses on improving a brand’s visibility in responses generated by AI-powered search platforms.
The startup said buyers are increasingly using AI platforms and Google’s AI Overviews for recommendations, where an answer may name only a small number of brands.
Its platform tracks how brands appear in these responses and identifies queries where competitors are being recommended instead.
Unveilr AI’s proprietary AI agents also map the sources used by AI platforms. Its SEO and AEO specialists then work on content, technical improvements and brand authority with the aim of increasing the likelihood that a business appears in AI-generated answers.
“A buyer today asks ChatGPT which lawyer, clinic or software to choose and gets two or three names back. If a brand isn’t one of them, it has lost that lead before its website ever loads,” Srivastava said.
It measures its work through leads generated for customers rather than relying on search rankings alone.
“AI has become the new way to search. Unveilr’s proprietary methods are starting to show immediate traction and visibility. Unveilr’s strong adoption in our large AJVC portfolio is a sign of its general-purpose utility,” Bhatnagar said.
The startup currently serves B2B and consumer brands across India, the UAE and the US. Its team includes IIT alumni and SEO and AEO specialists.
Following the pre-seed funding, Unveilr AI plans to add engineering capacity as it develops its AI agents further and expand its sales organisation across its existing markets.
